Export Application Files

1. Use the profile selector to navigate to the desired Grower. Click on the Grower’s name.

2. Choose Fertilizer or Seed from the drop down next to Available Prescriptions.

3. Published prescriptions will be listed in Available Prescriptions. Prescriptions are listed by Field ID/Alias, Product, and Prescription name.

NOTE: Individual fields and field groups will be listed in Prescription Manager. Field groups can be found at the bottom of the list of available prescriptions. If the whole field group will be applied, then only the field group prescription needs to be exported. To hide the individual field parts in the field group make sure the Hide Field Group Parts is selected.

4. Notice each product within a prescription is listed. These can be exported separately, if desired.

5. Click on the desired prescriptions to be exported. Then click the single-right arrow to move them to the Exports. To move all prescriptions to the Exports table, click the double-right arrow. The single and double-left arrows will remove fields from the Exports table in the same manner.

6. The Split Bin Setup tool can be used once prescriptions have been moved into the Exports. For more information on this tool, see Application Manager > Split Bin Setup.

7. Choose a file type from the drop down menu above the Exports. Check the Smoothed box if a smoothed file is desired. This will create gradual changes between rates allowing for a more accurate application. Files are typically smoothed when being spread with high-speed application equipment.

NOTE: It is important to know the maximum number of polygons per field the monitor will accept. Smoothing increases the number of polygons in the application file. For example, the Case Pro 700 has a polygon limit of 1000 and therefore smoothing is not recommended on the Pro 700.

8. Once the prescriptions and file type have been chosen, click Export Rx Files. The application files will then generate and download. Multiple fields will take longer to generate than a single field.

9. A zipped folder will download and be placed in the bottom left corner of the screen. To view the file, click on the down arrow next to the filename, and click Open

10. The file or files will be displayed. The file(s) will need to be unzipped before being placed onto a card. For a shapefile, all three files that are displayed (.dbf, .shp, .shx) must be placed onto the card.

11. The Application Reports may be downloaded from Application Manager or Batch Print.
