Flat-rate application often results in spreading fertilizer on areas that already have sufficient nutrient levels. Zone-based application ensures optimal rates are being applied at all times, which is better for crops, as well as the bottom line.
Our multi-layer approach helps identify variability in nutrients that a single-layer zone management program may not see.
Zones are individually soil sampled to establish optimal nutrient efficiencies. This enables the agronomist to develop a custom management plan that can include fertilizer and seed population recommendations for the greatest ROI. After a soil sample has been taken, the level of detail from mapping and sampling the field uncovers both excess and deficient carryover levels that often have a direct correlation to historical yield

ZONE MAPS
PATENTED MZB ZONE MAPS
Fields zoned using our patented MZB Zone process are zoned with up to 12 management zones. Layers used during this zoning process can include the soil properties being collected using electrical conductivity (EC) or Electromagnetic (EM) collection devices, RTK elevation and a yield potential layer by looking at collected yield or historical GNDVI Imagery.
MZB LITE ZONE MAPS
MZB Lite maps are zoned with up to six management zones. Layers used during this zoning process include topography and yield potential.
GEOREF PLUS MAPS
GeoRef Plus maps are zoned with up to three management zones. These fields are a single layer zone map and are zoned using yield potential.
NON-MZB ZONE MAPS
Non-MZB maps are zone maps imported from another software system, but can be managed using our precision ag software.
