Importing Yield Data
Import Yield Data
Yield data can be uploaded to a field using the Field Data Import tool. Before being uploaded, the yield data must be cleaned and in the shapefile format.
1. Click on the Yield
2. Click (click to select) to open the Profile Selector.
3. Use the Profile Selector to navigate to the desired field. Click Select, at the bottom of the Profile Selector to load the field into the map pane.
4. Click Select Files.
5. Navigate to the folder that contains the yield file. Select the shapefile (.dbf, .shp, .shx) of the yield data. Only one shapefile can be uploaded at a time. For better and faster uploading, zip the shapfile into a compressed zip file.
6. The yield file loads to the map pane. The field looks orange. This is all the point data from the yield file. Notice the file name is now displayed under Select Files.
7. Assign a year and crop to the yield file using the Yield Year and Yield Crop Type. Multiple years of yield data can be uploaded to a field.
8. Click Import at the bottom of the screen. A message will display when the yield data has been successfully saved.
9. The yield map can now be viewed in Map Maker.
